The BoRo Beach Bike is a high-quality group beach experience which exercises the mind and body along the beautiful seafronts of beaches and stunning landscape across the United Kingdom.
The BoRo Beach Bike adds a new, unique, fun experience to the tourist, corporate and local communities to experience the prom in a collaborative, eco-friendly way.
Being eco-friendly is in our nature (after all the bike is pedal-powered!), and we strive not just to be carbon-neutral but carbon-positive, by giving back to the World.
No single-use plastics
We do not use single-use plastic bottles on the BoRo Beach Bike. Instead, we sell aluminium cans for our water, supplied by CanO Water, which are resealable meaning you can take them away to finish at another time.
With approximately 8 million tonnes of plastic ending up in the ocean each year, CanOWater offers a highly recyclable alternative.
CanO Water aluminium cans have the highest recycling rate of any drink on the market; recycle your can and it could be back on the shelf in as little as 6 weeks.
Don't worry, the smart resealable lid doesn't affect the recyclability of the aluminium cans.
All of our merchandise (and some of our staff uniforms) are from award-winning eco-fashion brand Rapanui, based on the Isle of Wight.
Every step of their production process – from growing to shipping – is eco-friendly: They use sustainable and organic cotton in their products, their factory is wind powered and even their packaging is plant-based!

We want to encourage people to think about the impact they have on their environment by committing to at least one free litter-picking ride per month in each location we operate.
Keep checking our website and social media channels on how you can get involved and help keep our beaches clean.
Helping the Local Community
We also strive to use as many local suppliers and people as possible, cutting down on transportation, promoting local produce and businesses and helping the local economy to thrive.
In fact, we want to showcase the local talent with our themed rides as much as possible with My Local Expert rides. If you are a small business and want to showcase, promote or give a taster session of your talents in a unique way then the BoRo Beach Bike could be for you.
For example, are you a private French teacher who wants to give tasters to potential clients by leading a French class on the bike? Or are you a personal trainer that wants to run an exercise class in the fresh air? Or perhaps you have a passion for singing and want to gather like-minded people together to create a choir along the promenade?
If so, then please get in touch to see how we can work together.
